Conference summary: Evaluating Social and Economic Community Development Initiatives by Association for the Study and Development of Community
This conference, was viewed as an important opportunity to bring together grantees interested in SECD and to provide them an opportunity to learn about evaluation. The objectives of the conference were: To foster increased knowledge on how to evaluate efforts to build community capacity for social and economic community development projects; and To initiate a network of evaluators, practitioners, funders, and community leaders interested in the concepts, methods, and challenges to evaluating capacity building for SECD.
